Well think I am failing at this blog business so far, not had chance to put a post on here for weeks.
What exactly have I been doing that has stopped me from keeping this up to date? - hmmm very good question - answers on a postcard please!
Hang on, come to think of it can think of a few things I have managed to achieve during that time. SP, my business, has been rather time consuming, been busy working sourcing new products, updated the website and setting up a Facebook page.
Have also been sewing, with my trusty 80 year old Singer. I've been busy trying to get myself organised for the Craft Fair being held at the beginning of next month. Have had to think of some relatively easy projects that are suitable for selling at the fair. So far I have sewn numerous pocket tissue holders and my current creations are reversible headbands for adults and children.
Before I go thought I'd share the revelation I had the other evening, I've been trying to think of a name to sell my craft offerings under, and it suddenly came to me 'Serendipity'. One of my favourite words, and it sums up how I came to be sewing in the first place.
Serendipity - is the effect by which one accidentally stumbles upon something fortunate, especially while looking for something entirely unrelated. (Taken from Wikipedia)
So it is official I am trading under 'Serendipity', have spent some time making labels and tags for my products.
